Biography:
Cafas was a relatively standard child growing up. He made friends at school (Though never the popular kids), enjoyed learning, did reasonably well with grades.
In High school he took a liking to “Punk” mostly through musical tastes and the influence of the internet. His parents, never ones to stymie his creativity, even allowed him to get multiple facial piercings and payed for his hair to be dyed. He has recently settled on a vibrant pink.
He took kickboxing and MMA classes (jewellery removed) from 14 as his main avenue for fitness, eventually leading into weight lifting, which has since hampered his agility a little. When he was 15, after an argument with his mother, Cafas lost his temper, and in that moment every metal object in a small radius of him was blasted at high speed outward from him (including his piercings).
Aside from the recovery from that accident he actually continued relatively normally from there, training his new-found powers through dedicated practice (mostly just messing around, but he wouldn’t have told you that).
His grades slipped some as he was over-run by fantasies of being a superhero and spent more and more time in the gym and practising with his powers. He graduated with a B average.
He began college as a literature major, completing a year before dropping it. He put in to study finance, but soon received an offer from the Starlight academy to study with them.
Given it sounded most like the avenue to superherodom he chose to attend.
