Victoria made her way down the hallway, head tucked down and arms seemingly protecting her body from the world. She didn;t really have a destination in mind she just knew that she needed to be alone. Ever since the fire she had gotten so much worse. Before everything she could smile and pretend she was alright when it came to social interaction, but now, with everything ruined with Derrick, she barely had a will to live, let alone fake it.
Sighing she managed to find an empty classroom and she ducked in quickly. Here at least she should be able to get some studying done. She quickly sat down and buried her nose in her books trying to cover as much material as her brain would allow to be crammed in, she needed to, if not, she would start thinking of him.
But of course, life hated her and the moment she made that comment, her mind jumped to thoughts of Derek. His disgusted face permanantly burned into her mind and memory. How much he must have hated her now, so why, why did he come to save her from the fire? Had he chased her home? She just couldn;t wrap her mind around the idea. Still the tears came all the same.
She was disgusting, a ruined creature, and nothing she could do seemed to change that. She had gotten a job at a maid and butler cafe to help pay for makeup and clothes to make her attractive, she studied hard so he would be proud of her, and whenever he had a problem she was there to listen and comfort him. Yet one look, one glance at her scars made her so repulsive in his eyes, and nothing she could do would ever change that.
No, now and forever, she was on her own.
