Name: Abbadon Silverwing
Age: 17
Birthday: April 6th
Gender: Male
Category: Citizen
Class:
Appearance Description:
Abbadon stands at average size for a gryphon his age, 4'5" at the shoulders, and, like most gryphons, he has the head, talons, wings and tail feathers of some variety of bird, and the body of a big cat. With silver feathers, a dark grey beak and matching talons, white fur from the shoulders back and a cute pair of green eyes, one is tempted to call him adorable; the pair of modified welding goggles hanging around his neck, the leather satchel thrown over his shoulders, and the smudges of oil and grime on his face and talons says otherwise, but some might find the combination endearing. However, the young gryphon constantly keeps his wings close to his body, which hides a set of abhorrent scars on either side of his chest that look suspiciously like talon scratches, even though he says they're just from accidents that happened while he was tinkering with something.
Personality Description:
When one just meets Abbadon, one of the first things they'll notice about him is that he's always tinkering with something, or thinking about machines and how they work. Be it as simple as a safety pin or as complex as a cuckoo clock, if it's got any sort of mechanical mechanism, he's bound to be drawn to it, and generally, the more complex the machine is, the more of his attention one has when explaining how it works. In a way, his passion for tinkering and learning is sort of an addiction.
Another thing one would notice, is that while he's a genuine sweetheart and loves to lend a hand whenever possible, the gryphon also seems a bit... withdrawn and distant, as if there's something missing behind the kind smile on his beak. Often, he gets very moody and can go from being on top of the world to the deepest pits of despair within the same hour. Because of this, Abbadon has a hard time expressing how he really feels with anyone, and frequently buries himself in a book when he feels a conversation might be heading to an uncomfortable topic, such as talking about his family.
Powers:
Aside from flight, none.
Biography:
Abbadon's story is a rather sad one. Born to a Mrs. Sean Whitefeather and an unknown father in Montana, the young gryphon wasn't very happy with his situation. His wealthy mother was, in word, stuck in an aristocratic fantasy land, and was rather cold and unfeeling towards her illegitmate offspring, often comparing him to his "good for nothing sister", who was a graduate of Starlight Academy. About a few weeks after he turned seventeen, Abbadon decided he'd had enough, and decided to leave. With the help of an older sibling who worked in the banking industry and despised their mother even more than he did, he hijacked his mother's bank account and credit card information, and flew from Montana to Oregon towards the beginning of July, where he soon caught wind that there was a ship leaving for Manta Carlos from a few students who were returning there from vacation. Since docking at Manta Carlos a couple weeks ago, he's been wandering around town, using his recently acquired fortune to live rather well off while wandering the city.
Additional Information:
The scars under Abbadon's wings were, in fact, caused by his mother, as was his emotional problems.
The total amount of money Abbadon has at his disposal after hijacking his mother's bank account is approximately $650,000.
