Melody has a contemporary and classic beauty to herself in which that she, just like her identical twin sister gained from their mother. Her skin mimics that of porcine, though it is fully supple and soft to the touch. Her eyes are a almost white icy blue-green, honestly her favorite feature of herself. Her lips are fuller than that of her sisters, giving her almost a constant 'pouty' look to her. Her hair, unlike her sister whom straightens small sections of her hair.. Melody basically rolls out of bed with that particular style that she keeps, Wild and free.
Unlike her slightly younger sister (By several minutes) Melody has ever so slightly larger breasts, though her hips are a bit smaller. In a game of we look exactly alike the tiniest of differences are miles for the two of them. All and all Just like her sister her hips are full and rather lush with long legs that seem to go on for days. But all and all, the true dividing line between herself and Harmony are their heights and hairstyles..
Melody always dresses in a punk rocker meets gothic grunge look to her. Though she does sport several similar dresses that are just like her sisters for the sake of looking alike. For the stereotype of twins more or less. While her sister is content with looking like avrial lavine, Melody is more like amy lee.
Personality Description: Melody as an almost addictive personality, fun loving and out going. When one sister leads the other follows. Frequently this tends to get the pair of them into trouble. While she does love her sister very dearly there are times where she will let Harmony have just enough rope to hang herself with. Though, Melody will cut her down.. Eventually. Melody has a very strong mentality of "I'll try it once, twice to make sure." Which has sadly enough what caused her to get addicted to serious drugs.
Powers: Emotional Manipulation: Negative emotions
While Haromy is more akin to that of a fine tooth come with her ability over love.. Melody is akin to that of a well, mallet. Melody can invoke feelings of hate, fear, and disdane and other feelings of the like. However, much like her sister, Melody's ability to invoke these feelings come from her own personal well of emotions and energy.
Akin to Harmonys grimoire Melody also has something like this. Though, instead of having it on paper it is delicately carved into her skin which act as runes that glow neon purple when active.. This is something that she did encourage Harmony to do, to no avail.. Yet.
Unable to make constructs she can concentrate and alter her personal being through the strongest negative emotion, which is hate. Through hate Melody becomes stronger and it can easily turn her body into a weapon. Through the hate of others she can also grow stronger, feeding from their well of emotion to fuel her own.
In addition to this she can also form weapons and barriers.. Even creating auras. This is the like ability that her and her sister share to the letter. Though over use can cause emotional strain and often has lead to her self harming since whatever she invokes on others often comes back to bite her twice fold. Physically, it makes her desire to sleep a lot.
Melody also has the abilities to make others feel hate, fear, envy, etc... She can also steal that feeling from them.. Though this all feeds into her own well of 'emotions' that often make her feel the given emotion. For example.. IF Harmony is sad she will take the sadness that her beloved sister feels into herself, but at a cost being that she will in turn be sad.
Biography: The twins were born to well-off but dysfunctional parents. The father was a businessman that was focused on bettering his status among his peers. The mother was a socialite with anxiety problems. The father would always go out on business meetings and trips; it was rare that he would ever do anything with his family. All of his concentration was on his work. His justification was that what he did pay the bills and gave his family various privileges, so that was all that ultimately mattered. The mother kept on a smiling facade when in reality she feared that she was just a mere trophy wife. To reconcile with this, she often bought expensive anti-aging treatments and was a heavy drinker. She would go through many wine bottles. She also took anti-depressants just to keep her misery hidden.
The twins weren't really raised by either parent. The hired help more or less raised them in the sense that their needs were met. Due to this, there was barely ever the idea that their parents actually LOVED them. While Harmony felt pain.. Melody would be there with her, for her.. Often taking her sisters pain away and into herself. Every day she did this, showing her love for her and adoring her in all ways. This was the beginning of a self destructive phase that never truly died out but she hid quite well.
Melody and Harmony, while having separate rooms with a little prompting from the staff got them to move everything into one room.. Melody sleeping with Harmony, this being something that never changed.. No matter how old they got. This childhood view of wanting to be loved.. Is what Melody discovering her powers.. Often more times than not using the collected emotion to frighten away anyone that dared look at Harmony.. Often finding disapproval in then some how. More times than not turning the suitors for her sister into prickish jerks.
It was during school that Melody had started using drugs. While having basked in the bright light that her sister cast and using her abilities to weed out the unworthy of her sisters pure heart and love.. Melody began to question many things, Though... Like her sister she was the center of attention, where ever Harmony went Melody was sure to go and vise versa. It was only a matter a time before Melody started noticing that their mother was pulling away more so.. And how in denial she acted when Melody was high as a damned kite at home.
Bit by bit, the parents kept being in denial about the sisters' individual powers and problems. They did everything they could to cover it up but never to solve it. They had reputations to uphold! Finally after so long of contending with this issue, the sisters were offered invitations to a prestigious school known as Starlight Academy. Their parents all too happily shipped them off to Manta Carlos Island with hopes that the academy would work out all their issues for them.
