<div align=center>It was a brisk October afternoon, Levi was bundled up in far too many layers but somehow there was still a chill that nipped at him and made him shiver. He was dreading the winter, along with the winter came something that Ty had called snow, and Levi didn't know what that was, not really, but he didn't think he was looking forward to it. Fall was well on it's way and the leaves were beginning to turn a golden brown colour. He realized this was special, Tyberius rarely left the comforts of their dorm room and Levi decided now that they were a little closer than they had been before it was probably a good idea to coax him into the outside to get some fresh air at least once a week. It was good for him.

"It's cold," Levi complained, his breath fogging white as he spoke, amused by this, the boy giggled, breathing out another puff of air that fogged up as well, reminiscent of smoke. "Look at this! I'm a dragon!" Tail flicking excitedly behind him, he whirled round and shot a wide smile back at his room mate. He was in a good mood. He was excited about things, Levi had never been to a zoo before, let alone did he actually know what half of the animals inside it were, he'd probably never seen half of them in his life. Sure, lions and tigers he knew, but Levi had never seen other things, like a tortoise or a camel. "It's so cold I hope it doesn't snow." Of course, it wasn't at all cold enough for snow, but he didn't know that.</div>

Tyberius didn't know how Levi had managed to pry him away from their comfortable dorm, but however he had done it, Ty resented him a little bit for it. Despite his warm coat, he could still feel the faint chill in the air. It didn't bother him near as much as it seemed to bother Levi, but he still missed the comfortably warm weather of early spring and late summer. The leaves were tumbling off their branches rapidly, and the ground was coated in dead and dying bits of foliage. Once in a while, a pine tree broke the monotony of yellow and orange trees, standing out stark green against the others.
Levi certainly seemed to be enjoying himself, puffing out warm clouds of air. "No. You're a goat." He was a teeny bit excited about going to the zoo, but he didn't want to have to admit that.

Out in the parking lot, he had gotten permission to store his motorcycle in a small corner, covered by a big black tarp. He didn't drive it very often these days, finding it easier to just walk to and from his destinations. The key rattling in his pocket, Tyberius wrapped his fingers tightly around the cold metal. "Of course it won't snow, it's not even close to being cold enough for that." Once Levi shrivelled up and froze, then it would probably be time to snow. The familiar lump of his bike came into view, and despite himself, he felt his spirits lifted by the sight of his old companion. He really did need to drive it more. "Here. Zoo is too far to walk. We can drive. " The thought of public transportation made him shudder inside, thinking of all those germs. Walking would be too slow and too cold, so obviously driving was their only option.

Unzipping the cover, Tyberius pulled it all the way off, dropping the stiff fabric onto the pavement. Underneath, a sleek black bike waited patiently. It shone under the bright sun, showing off it's polished chrome trim. He had only brought a single helmet with him, not exactly expecting to give anyone else a lift anywhere. Exhaling faintly, Tyberius lifted it off the seat, slotting the key into it's place before turning back to Levi. "Wear this helmet."

<div align=center>Levi frowned at the goat comment, didn't dragons have horns too? He'd rather be a dragon than a goat, besides, he fit the part better - goats didn't have wings, but dragons did, didn't they? Trotting obediently after Ty, Levi paused a few meters from whatever was covered in the corner of the parking lot. Confused until the tarpaulin was pulled away, Levi realized he had absolutely no idea that Tyberius had even owned any kind of vehicle. He just keeps surprising me. Despite more or less living in each other's shadows, Tyberius was still very much an enigma to Levi.

A frown crossed his features when he was handed a helmet, lowering it over his head until his horns met the plastic of the helmet with a soft crack. "Oh." Trying to force it on a little further, but to no avail. Levi thrust it back at Ty, "I don't think it's happening." He could probably have tried again, but at the risk of cracking the outside of the helmet, Levi thought it was probably a good idea just to leave it for now. "I'll be okay, you're not gonna crash, right?" It hadn't occurred to him until now, but he realized that Ty had offered him safety before taking it himself, and that gave Levi a strange fuzzy feeling somewhere in his chest. Aw.</div>

Watching Levi try to stuff the helmet down over his horns, Tyberius gave a faint sigh. He had forgotten about the horns, and took it back gingerly. Perhaps he could ... Look into having a custom one made. Though he didn't think it would be very easy, he — Well, it wasn't like he cared about his safety or anything. Pushing those thoughts away, Tyberius shook his head. "Nevermind. Just don't fall off." Tugging the vehicle out from it's space and away from the cover, Ty leaned it back over onto the kickstand.

"Well ... You can sit in the front, or the back. The back will probably be warmer, though." Taking a moment to run his fingers in his hair, pushing loose strands away from his face, Ty settled his helmet down over his head, snapping the visor back up. "You'll have to hang on tight, it'll be even colder when we're moving, you can keep your hands in my pockets if you like ..." Giving Levi a final worried look at his head, Ty threw one leg over the seat, scooting forwards a bit for Levi. Starting the ignition, Ty shivered a bit as the engine roared into life, and Ty put the visor back down. He had forgotten how nice it felt to have something underneath you, capable of taking you anywhere you liked in a short time.

<div align=center>"I'll try. Don't crash." Levi would usually have the use of his wings in times of danger, but unfortunately they were trapped snuggly underneath all his clothing, more than a little useless right now. Starting a little when the engine roared into life, he cautiously struggled up behind Ty, shifting a little in the seat and wrapping both arms around the older boy's waist. He was warm, and Levi might have fallen asleep here if he wasn't so wary about falling off and dying somewhere in the middle of the road. Hopefully that wouldn't be the case though, he didn't really feel like dying today.

Dropping his head against Tyberius' back and shuffling closer, and just to make sure he definitely wouldn't fall off, establishing a slightly tighter grip on him, and it certainly wasn't an excuse to cuddle his room mate, nope. No way. He wasn't cuddling he just.... Didn't want to die. "How long have you had this?" He asked, "maybe I should ask more questions about you." His hands fumbled around briefly to locate Ty's pockets, before worming their way inside and clasping at the fabric. Then again, Tyberius never really answered any questions that Levi asked him.</div>

Able to hide behind his helmet, Ty let himself smile at Levi's attempt to clamber onto the back of his motorcycle. The feeling of arms being wrapped around his waist was both comforting and exciting. It was like being hugged. A warm weight against his back made him hope that Levi didn't decide to take a nap and lose his grip. That would be the last thing he wanted, to have to chase after a flailing demon without a helmet.
He only shrugged at the question. He had had it for quite a long time, but it wasn't like he drove it daily. "A while." Ty liked being intentionally vague and avoidant; it made him feel strange when people tried to get too close to his personal life.

Nudging the stand back up, Ty walked them further away, a little worried that he would be rusty with driving. It had been a while, but he squeezed the gas lightly, and the muscle memory came flooding back. Tensing his muscles, he gripped the other handlebar as it started, and not being able to resist showing off a little, Tyberius squeezed the gas a bit harder, making the motorcycle jump into life, the front wheel coming off the ground a bit for a second. Wind whipped around his helmet as they started, quickly gaining speed and flying over the road. It wasn't too long before signs advertising the zoo started cropping up, and eventually the massive building came into his view. Veering off the main road, Ty slowed as they approached, getting excited at the idea of being able to see the animals.
The parking lot was only half-full, people didn't seem to want to come out as often now that the weather was changing. Screeching to a halt in a nearby space, Ty tore off his helmet, his breath clouding as he puffed. "Have fun?" Standing, Tyberius squinted at the main entrance, decorated with fun little pictures of animals. "Hopefully it won't be too crowded today. I bet they have a petting zoo, too. Do you want to see the petting zoo?"

<div align=center>Levi was far too curious of Ty, he wanted to simultaneously know everything about him and know nothing about him. Knowing nothing meant that it was exciting when he learned new things, but Levi realized he had basically spilled his guts to Tyberius about everything that had happened to him, yet, he still knew more or less nothing about the older man's background. He wasn't going to push him, though. The demon let out a soft squeak as he felt the bike beneath him move, tucking his head into Ty's back and shutting his eyes. He wasn't sure he liked this very much, it felt terribly unsafe and with the tiny frame that he had - he was getting increasingly worried that he might just end up being blown away. No thank you.

He was practically relieved when they came to a stop, pushing the thoughts that told him they'd have to come back the same way out of his head. Have fun? Brow furrowing softly, Levi clambered off the bike and shook his head just a little. He could think of better ways to travel around. "Petting... Zoo?" He asked, tilting his head to the side. What was a petting zoo? He'd never heard of that before. "What's that?"</div>

"It's where children go to pet baby farm animals. They've usually got baby cows, horses and goats. Hey, maybe you'll finally see your people again. I can leave you with the goats, they'll never know the difference." Straightening out his jacket, Tyberius flashed his roommate a wicked smile before turning back to his motorcycle, making sure everything was secured and nothing fell over.

Stuffing his hands back into his pockets, Ty stretched a moment before tugging Levi into his chest, squishing him into a strange side-hug. It might have been the changing of the seasons, but he was feeling a bit less prickly than usual. Besides that, Levi was warm, and he missed the feeling of being pressed tight together like that. Somewhere in his chest, he was anticipating going back home. Herding the boy towards the doors, Ty picked up one of the map pamphlets that were being handed out, reading while he walked. "Here, look. The petting zoo is all the way over here. We can go this way and see the animals, and then the petting zoo, and then eat probably, and then go this way to see the rest of the animals..." There were lots of places to eat, hopefully Levi wouldn't have to be pried off each individual food stand.

<div align=center>Baby animals. That sounded fun, Levi liked the idea of that. He hoped they didn't bite, he didn't know if horses were the kind of animals to bite, how badly could their teeth hurt, anyway? He didn't know very much about animals. His area was humans, mainly, and he barely knew anything about that either. "If you leave me with the goats then I will leave you with the chickens." He grumbled, folding his arms and sticking his tongue out at Tyberius. Though that wasn't really possible if Levi had already been left with the goats, but thinking about it for too long would only confuse the poor, simple boy.

Levi let out a little surprised squeak as he felt himself tugged sideways into Ty's chest, nestling there for a moment, he was happy to be hugged. Whimpering at the loss of contact, Levi scuttled close to Ty again to forcefully loop his arm through his and peering over to look at the map that he had just picked up. Jabbing at a little cartoon drawing of a large, grey creature, Levi tilted his head. "What's that?" He asked, eyes flickering to skim over the word underneath it. "E.. El... I can't read that word. What does it say?"</div>

"Pfft, can't leave me if I leave you first." The goats and chickens were most likely in the same spot, anyway. They wouldn't get very far by leaving each other. Tentatively, Ty shook the arm that was being held hostage, a little unsure of what Levi was doing. Deciding to let it go for the moment, Tyberius bent his head over where Levi was pointing. Offering the map closer down to his face, he could see the illustration of a fat little elephant.
"It's an elephant, dumbo. Haven't you heard of an elephant before?"

Tyberius had personally never seen an elephant up in person, but he had seen plenty of nature programs and articles about the great beasts. A random bank of assorted animal facts had been stored from such encounters with animal programs, though Ty opted not to spew out any of his small bits of information. "Here, they're close enough to us. Do you want to head to the elephants first?" After paying, Ty returned his gaze to the map. There were a couple small sights on the way out to the elephants, maybe they even had camel rides at this zoo. It would be quite interesting to see Levi be plopped on top of the lumpy animal. "Hmm, they've got a few monkey attractions too. Maybe we'll find more of your family in there. "
