<div align=center>Appearance Description:</div>
Human Form: Although Ahstonik’s true and natural form is that of a dragon, you willmost likely find him in his human form as he both has a personal preference for it (and is a bit embarrassed by how small/childish his dragon form is still), as well as he is forced to stay in his human form the majority of the time. His human form is also considerably small for his age in human years as this form also ages slowly (he still appears to be a teenager even though he is considered a child still in dragon years as dragon’s live much longer and their human form will age slower as they grow old). The first thing you’re bound to notice about Ahstonik’s human form is that he isn’t quite human at all and may, to some even appear to be some type of demonic creature as the dragon aspects his human form retains may not be readily recognized as such.
In this form Ahstonik stands roughly at about 5’6’’ or slightly taller in height and has a rather average but athletic and toned build. His physique is more of less natural as he doesn’t need work out to maintain the muscle he has but rather it comes with being a dragon who has nearly no fat on its body and is more muscle than anything (though he does work out and train in hand to hand). Though his dragon form is dark in color, Ahstonik’s complexion in human form is Caucasian in contrast but is lightly tanned. Due to his species, his skin is a strange texture as it is tougher than a normal human’s skin but oddly soft and smooth, almost like silk or the scales of a snake (this mostly comes with having youthful scales as a dragon much like a baby’s skin texture compared to an adult human). His skin is also virtually flawless and seems to have something of a natural luster or sheen to it (his skin is never blotchy, gets acne nor does he have body hair like a normal human as the only hair he does have is on his head and his eyebrows (and other places that don’t really need to be mentioned) This is also due to his species as the type of dragon he is, is hairless and to compensate in human form, he doesn’t grow hair in most places that is natural for a human to).
Ahstonik’s face is rather angular with a defined jaw line, a slightly prominent nose which appears to have been broken at one point and hadn’t healed correctly, high and defined cheek bones and average sized but nicely shaped lips. His eyes are an odd but striking mix of color ranging from deep golden to dark red with slit pupils and the surrounding area about his eyes being black instead of white. His hair is worn in an odd and almost grungy style with the longest bit pulled into a thin side pony tail which rests on the side opposite of his bangs. The hair outside the pony tail starts off rather short on the left where it falls before and behind his ear in a messy manner. This bit of choppy hair is separated from his bangs with the use of two silver pins which make it appear as though there is a small nearly shaven portion of his hair between ear and the start of his bangs. His bangs are side swept and become longer the further to the right they get until they reach about the base of his neck at the longest. The majority of his hair is black while a streak of red runs through his bangs and the hair that is pulled into a pony tail is red as well.
As was mentioned before, Ahstonik’s human form retains several dragon-like traits including horns and a tail. His horns easily show through his hair and are angled back so they point behind him but they both have small twists to them that give them an interesting look. As well as the two horns on his head, several small spikes run underneath his eyes and along his cheek bones mimicking the way they do in his dragon form. Around his eyes are black makeup-like markings which mimics the coloring about his eyes in his dragon form which make his eyes appear even less human and more like a dragon’s. Ahstonik's nails are a bit long and sharp for a human's and naturally grow back faster as well as are a deep red, almost black in color and the tips of his fingers are a bit off colored as well as they too take on the coloring of his dragon form. His canines as well as the rest of his teeth are rather sharp like a dragon's but not overly so. A black and red scale like pattern can be found about his body in such places as the outer part of his torso, arms and neck as well as a small bit just under his eyes and about his face, down the outer part of his legs and up his back from where his tail starts. His tail is rather slender for what one might think a dragon would have and several spikes run down the mid of it as well as it ends with a spiked tip. Upon his back sit a pair of rather ragged wings which appear to have been torn in a few spots but they are for the most part naturally disheveled. They are a deep red and black in color and appear to be either depending on the lighting but their insides are lighter in color than the outside. At the very top of these wings and angled downward slightly are claw like spikes in which can be used as second appendages (more so in dragon form than human form; they can help balance him out and help him gain speed when running in that form as well as can be used as a weapon much like his tail or the horns on his head.
As for clothing, Ahstonik doesn’t have much choice in the matter and is made to wear whatever it is his ‘family’ deems fitting. All of his clothing is bought and picked out by them and so he can typically be found dressed very nicely and on par with his young master so he looks presentable in public with him. Ahstonik doesn’t have many complaints about this as he quite likes much of the clothing but doesn’t like the fact that he has no say in what he wears and particularly dislikes, no hates one item he is made to wear. That item is a collar of sorts which was designed to look like an expensive piece of jewelry. However, that collar is nothing of the sort and is actually a charmed item for the sole purpose of keeping control over the young dragon who would otherwise rebel against his masters. You see, this collar was specifically made to send electric shocks through Ahstonik’s body by way of small metallic spikes that cut through his skin to send the shock more directly to his nerves so it’s more effective as his skin is naturally tougher than a human’s. These spikes aren’t mended into his skin nor do they constantly cut into his skin as they only come out when the collar is triggered to shock him. It is defaulted to go off if he puts too much distance between himself and his young master so he is forced to stay near him so he can protect him as is the reason he was given to him. It can also be triggered to give him a shock if he tries to take it off or if his young master sets it off. Depending on the reason for the trigger to be set off, the degree to which he’s shocked will vary such as if he tries to take it off it’s generally a relatively small shock which increases if he continues to struggle to get it off and if he strays too far away from his master it’ll give him something of a warning shock at first which will gradually increase the further away from him he gets. When he takes on his dragon form, this collar changes size along with him and does not break due to the shift as well as it isn’t triggered by water as the collar itself isn’t electrified but it is magic that sends the shock through his body.
Dragon Form: As a dragon, Ahstonik is considerably young and still noted as a juvenile or child rather than the teenager he appears to be when taking on a human form as dragons age slower and live much longer than humans. In this form he is rather small compared to a full grown dragon, laughable even as he nothing of the size one might expect a dragon to be. His size could be comparable to a horse rather than a building or several buildings as a full grown dragon is. Instead of the menacing or even majestic look of a full grown dragon, Ahstonik’s dragon form appears to be as youthful as he is small and not quite grown into his limbs yet as his wings are pretty large compared to his body. In this form he is rather clumsy, he can’t fly very well or control/use his fire and it’s obvious he still has a lot of maturing to do. As a fire dragon, Ahstonik’s coloring ranges from a deep red to a coal black, his eyes are the same color as they are in his human form as well as his tail, wings and other markings resemble the ones in his human form or rather, vise versa.
<div align=center>Personality:</div>
Ahstonik may be for all intents and purposes, enslaved to the duty of protecting the Archduke of a royal family back in his homeland, but his personality isn’t quite what you would expect a royal guard’s to be. As much as it has been instilled into his mind that this is his proper place in society and that his only priority and means to his existence is to protect the young archduke at all costs, Ahstonik doesn’t accept this and still holds himself in pretty high regard. Throughout his entire life Ahstonik has fought against the discrimination and oppression he was subjected to from a young age and now at eighteen years old, he is still fighting. He is well aware that he can’t just up and escape as was proven over the many times he has tried in the past but that doesn’t stop him from rebelling against the system so to speak and being one hell of a stubborn guard. Despite how he has been viewed and treated all his life, Ahstonik, like many other dragons, is a very prideful individual by nature which only makes him that much more stubborn and difficult to deal with. He believes that as a dragon, a great dragon no less, he should be respected, looked up to and feared even, not treated like a weapon and paraded around like a pet. His ‘place in society’ is incredibly demeaning to him and does hit hard on this pride of his which makes him more often than not, not a very happy person and rather spiteful toward those who claim to be his masters or anyone else who would look down upon him for any reason. He is quick to lash out at anyone who does treat him as though he is less than they are and stubbornly defends himself and insists that he is superior. This state of mind isn’t without flaw however as he can become unsure of himself and question the way he views himself but is usually quick to pull himself out of it and force himself to believe he is indeed deserving of better treatment. Most of this uncertainty comes from not knowing why; why just because he was born as the specie he is, do others think this is right? It’s rather upsetting to him and eats at him a lot more than he lets on or will even acknowledge to himself. Regardless, he is much too stubborn to allow himself to dwell on these thoughts when he can help it. All of that being said, Ahstonik’s personality is predominantly stubborn but it’s not just stubbornness over his place in society but when it comes to just about everything as well. This goes especially for making promises as Ahstonik doesn’t often do it but when he does, he keeps to his word. After all, it would damage his pride not to.
He is very aware of the fact that his young master has something of a crush on him and although Ahstonik himself doesn’t acknowledge the fact that he even likes him as a person, he does use this knowledge to his advantage. Out of spite as well as for sheer amusement, Ahstonik teases his young master for this and usually in rather provocative ways so as to embarrass him or get reactions out of him. This can and is both done in either a simply playful manner or downright cruel as Ahstonik will do anything from parading around half nude in front of his young master just to tease him to falsely flirting with him and flirting with others in front of him as well. This isn’t the only way in which he teases his young master as he still enjoys messing with him even if he isn’t quite the bully he used to be toward him as a kid. Playing pranks on him and doing stupid and silly little things to him such as tripping him, flicking him in the back of the head, calling him names and making fun of his weight are just a few of the ways Ahstonik likes to pester the young archduke. Usually the ways in which he goes about this are more playful than anything as he finds it fun to get reactions out of the boy, though sometimes it can seem a bit cruel and he doesn’t realize it is as well as other times he purposely goes out of his way to be mean to the boy (typically only when he feels spited and like he has to get him back for something or he might just act out against him because he’s frustrated or upset and either doesn’t realize why or feels he can’t speak about it). When it comes to the young archduke, Ahstonik’s feelings about him are pretty conflicting as part of him still blames him for the reason his situation is the way it is and another simply wants companionship from him, where he has never really had any before. He knows or he believes he should hate the young archduke but most of the time he can’t bring himself to; the boy has been really the only sense of comfort, the only confidant (as less as he’s ever confided to him), and sense of security Ahstonik has ever had in his life. He is both trying to push that away out of stubbornness and his pride as well as he can’t help but cling to it out of desperation.
It’s pretty fair to say that while Ahstonik is rather intelligent and observant when he wants to be, he is a pretty big spaz and an outright goofball a lot of the time. He tends to be pretty clumsy and make a fool of himself by doing stupid things such as tripping over his own tail, getting his wings or tail caught on something, tearing and ruining his clothing on his horns/tail/wings when trying to dress (which usually leads to him needing help or to him walking around looking like he’s been mauled by a lion), accidentally setting the trigger on his collar off and shocking himself. Along with this, Ahstonik tends to over react to things, especially if he is excited or if something shiny/interesting catches his eye and that’s when you’ll really see this dorky side to his personality. Don’t be surprised if you find him getting into your personal bubble and staring at your face or shirt if you say, have piercings or are wearing something with silver or gold buttons on it and then demanding that you give them to him…or at least let him touch them/hold them (usually he doesn’t realize how creepy this seems…he’s not trying to molest you, I promise…he just wants the shiny). Also, don’t be surprised if you find him stashing the silverware from a restaurant into his pockets and trying to walk out the door with it, or staring intently through a store window at some jewelry or something. You’ll probably almost never find Ahstonik without something random he picked up in his pockets and whatever room he is staying in will never be clean as he stashes his finds, his ‘treasure’ all over the place; under his bed, in his pillow sheets, under his young master’s bed, behind some books, in a plant…you get the idea. Oh and don’t bother trying to clean up the ridiculous clutter his hiding of knick knacks creates unless you want to deal with a very pissed off dragon; no matter how useless they are or how silly the idea seems, these knock knacks are Ahstonik’s treasure of sorts…and you should never tamper with a dragon’s treasure.
Worst Memory: Most of Ahstonik’s memories aren’t exactly happy but the absolute worst would have to be when he first received the collar he is made to wear now as well as any memories of feeling completely lonely, left out and like he doesn’t belong.
Best Memory: Ahstonik doesn’t really favor any of his memories as he doesn’t think of any of them as much to fond over however he can look back on some of the stuff he did when he was younger and smile or laugh at how stupid it was or the reactions he got from his young master when he say, pranked him. Some of his better memories which he’d never own up to are the times when he and his young master got along better and when he could go to him for silent comfort and support.
Likes: His young master, shiny things and odd little knick knacks (which he tends to steal and hide away), warmth, fire, spicy food, teasing his young master and picking on him, the colors black, red, silver, gold, and baby blue, exploring/discovering new food/places/music/etc,
Dislikes: His young master, his collar, mornings, homework, being told what to do, being underestimated and or being made fun of because of his height/size, the cold, really cold food and drinks such as ice cream, when people try to befriend or flirt with his young master (he’s prone to jealousy and fear that if his young master becomes close to someone else that he’ll be forgotten as any sort of acknowledgement other than his personal guard and that’s all he be seen as)
Weaknesses: He is pretty hot headed and can over react to things which tends to get him into trouble, he can be a bit rough and aggressive even when he’s just messing around as he has a hard time determining his strength vs. others, he becomes jealous rather easily, he’s prone to holding grudges, he’s a bit of a spaz sometimes when it comes to things that are shiny and attractive to him as well as just in general
, he has a habit of completely ignoring his manners and cursing as well as being very vulgar (if not on purpose, on accident as well), he’s a bit clumsy and forgetful (which usually leads to him tripping over himself, becoming flustered with his wings or tail for ‘being in the way’ and accidentally shocking himself by triggering his collar to go off).
Strengths: He can be well mannered if he wants to be and cleans up pretty
nicely as well, he won’t admit to it but he does actually care about his young master and is protective over him, he can hold his own in a fight pretty well, he’s intelligent and observant (though most of the time he makes himself out to be stupid)
Fears: His young master becoming close to someone else (as a friend or otherwise), only to shut him out and treat him more like the lowly personal guard he is rather than an individual as he does now, for his young master to get hurt and he to not be able to protect him as he’s supposed to, having more of what freedoms he has now taken away
Habits:
- Ahstonik still has a bad habit which started in childhood, of stealing and pocketing things that catch his eye (like silverware from a restaurant, the button off of an expensive shirt, the tin foil wrapper of a piece of gum and other off knick knacks that are either of value or just interest him), and hiding them in places like under his bed.
- Completely ignoring the manners he was taught and acting pretty vulgar; cursing, not using table manners and just downright being rude (sometimes purposely, sometimes without realizing it).
- Accidentally triggering his collar to shock him, as well as doing other stupid things like tripping over his feet or tail and becoming flustered with his wings when they get in the way.
- Ahstonik is a deep sleeper (he could fall off the side and onto his head without waking up) and tends to drool in his sleep as well as move around a lot (if you're sleeping in the same bed as him don't be surprised if you wake up and find his foot in your mouth and the rest of him hanging halfway off the bed), mumble and snore as well as partially act out his dreams or react to what is going on around him without realizing it (like if you try to move him he might grab onto your shirt or something and try to use you for a pillow...he might just try to actually eat one of the pillows in his sleep and if you try and shake him awake don't be surprised if you receive a punch to the face or kick to the gut).
Hobbies:
-As it’s pretty obvious already, Ahstonik likes to collect things and hoard them.
-He enjoys teasing and picking on his young master as well as pulling pranks on him. (Sometimes it’s mean but most of the time it’s more playful than anything.)
<div align=center>Powers:</div>
Major; Dragon powers:
Enhanced senses and agility: While in human form all of Ahstonik’s senses are more keen than a normal human’s would be as well as he is stronger and a bit faster than your average human. He isn’t quite as strong or as fast as he can be in his dragon form but is still strong enough to effortlessly flip a car on its side and with effort actually lift it up off the ground (that’s about where his strength is in human form right how…he probably wouldn’t really be able to say throw a car, punch a crater in the ground or anything ridiculous like that). His speed is only slightly faster than your average human (effortlessly as fast as an athlete who trains and with effort only just a bit faster, if that), it’s more so his stamina that out does a human’s than his speed alone as he doesn’t tire out as quickly as a human. Most of his senses are just slightly more keen than a human’s, such as his sense of smell and hearing but his eye sight is the one of his senses to trump a human’s as he can see much better in the dark than a human (not perfect), his day time eye sight is pretty much a perfect 20/20 and much like a lizard he picks up color much better than a human and can see more color in dim light than a human. Ahstonik’s skin is also tougher than a human’s and though he can definitely be hurt, his skin is a bit more resistant in both forms (a lot more resistant in his dragon form and maybe twice as resistant as a human’s skin in his human form).
Shifting: Ahstonik has the ability to shift between his natural form as a dragon and his human form in which he retains several dragon-like traits as well as abilities. In his dragon form he is much stronger and faster or…he would be but seeing as he hasn’t had much time to become used to it as well as he still hasn’t quite grown into his wings and whatnot, he is a bit clumsy in this form. In his dragon form his fire abilities are stronger as well and he is altogether much more of a force to reckon with than his human form is.
Fire Affinity: As a fire dragon, it’s only natural that Ahstonik has fire related abilities and these abilities can be used in either dragon form or human form. The main idea of this ability is that Ahstonik can both create and control fire; however there are a few more components to it than just that. Ahstonik’s body temperature is naturally higher than a human’s and he is able to raise this temperature to scalding heights which would easily boil a human alive, to use it to keep warm, melt ice (and other such things) and even burn someone with touch (he can either concentrate this in a single area of his body such as the palms of his hands or can use it throughout the entirety of his body. Basically it’s the ability of using the heat of fire without actually creating fire). Along with this, Ahstonik is immune to fire and cannot be burned by it but this only goes for fire and he can be burned by any other means or by supernatural/non-normal(?) fire. Of course, the main aspect of this sub ability is being able to create and manipulate the fire he creates . This ability can be used both in dragon and human form (as all others under this sub-ability) and can be used by way of breathing fire or setting his body/parts of his body such as his hands ablaze and then from there using the fire as he pleases. (He cannot manipulate fire that he himself does not create nor can he create anything from the fire such as objects or change the shape of the fire (intensity yes, but shape no).
Longevity and Health: As a dragon Ahstonik has the potential to live far beyond the years of a human, thousands upon thousands even if he survives that long. Going along with this, Ahstonik doesn't become sick as often as a human as his immune system is higher and it's unlikely he'd catch a human disease (when he does become sick it's usually pretty bad as he is prone to sneezing fire as well as since he doesn't often become sick the few times he does it typically hits him pretty hard and in unusual ways compared to a human....such as it can have an effect on his abilities or put him out of commission so to speak for longer than your average cold). This by no means makes him immortal and he can be killed...it's just a bit more difficult to take him down than a human.
<div align=center>Biography:</div>
Ahstonik’s story begins long before he was even born and in a kingdom that exists among the modern world of men but outside their realm of side and as far as they’re concerned, there is no such thing. On an island among the mass of sea throughout the world is where this kingdom took root and originally became a safe haven, much like Manta Carlos, for those that didn’t quite fit into the world and those who would be pursued by the misunderstanding man. From there this island became a massive kingdom full of anything you could think of from super powered humans to elves and dwarves to ogres and werewolves and yes, dragons. For each specie among the kingdom, there was a role to play and to keep their safe haven hidden as well as to keep the peace, for instance, witches and wizards took up the role of keeping a magic barrier about the island so prying eyes couldn’t see it. Of course not everyone or everything for that matter got along and there were problems among the kingdom’s citizens but for the most part, they were fairly civilized and life on the island was indeed a safe haven away from man’s condescending views of things they misunderstand.
Several species on the island were either going extinct from man kind’s hunting and or were protected and considered sacred to those on the island. One of these species were the dragons that inhabited the island; noble, intelligent and dangerous beings they were, were not hunted and slain as they are in hero movies or books but were treated both with respect and fear by most. Living up in the mountains and away from civilization, they kept to themselves, had their own rules of conduct and no one dare trespass on their territory. That is, until an epidemic broke out across the kingdom and thousands upon thousands began to die off without a cure. There was a cure however, that one of the many citizens on the island came to realize as they figured out what was the cause of this epidemic and that cause was dark magic and the cure, a concoction made with the blood of a dragon. Desperate to end the island wide devastation, an able body group was sent after the dragons on the mountain and while most lost their lives in the endeavor, they did succeed in what they came for and several dragons were killed for their cause.
Enraged by the loss of their kin, the dragons countered and attacked the heart of the kingdom, initiating a war. This war didn’t last long however as there was a vast difference in number on each side and though many were killed on both sides, the kingdom was too strong and what was left of the dragons that weren’t killed or captured, fled. Dragons were since hunted and either killed or captured and the peace on the island was never truly restored. Other species began being hunted down as well for fear that they too would turn against the kingdom and from there, things only worsened. Dragons and other species were being bred and killed for such things as their scales, horns, blood and etc to be used for magic as well as they were being pitted against one another in underground fights and they no longer had their freedom nor were seen as sacred creatures and through time, that notion became long lost to the island. Soon enough, certain species were enslaving others, mass discrimination ran throughout the island and the safe haven it once was, was no more. Dragons had since become something of a novelty item among royalty and were kept as guards or even pets as well as were still used for more vulgar means such as fighting. Dragons began being held in high regard by royalty much the same way as certain breeds of cats were, as one royal family kept one as a guard for their riches and the trend started after that. Much like dogs or cats, they were bred after that to become the perfect guards and royal families all over the kingdom started using them to guard their riches, as well as by large mining companies to guard the mines and etc.
Ahstonik was born after this had become normality on the island and his birth like the birth of many other dragons upon the island was planned before hand and his destiny set in stone before he even had a heartbeat. You see, a wealthy royal family that lived among the island had just had a child…a protégé of sorts who they would go out of their way to protect and they did. Ahstonik’s parents were chosen from two long blood lines of great dragons with the ability to take human form, as the royal family wanted a guard for their son that could constantly be by his side and what better guard than a dragon that could walk among men ? Ahstonik never truly knew these parents as he never even saw his father and was taken away from his mother before he could really form any memories of her. At barley the age of two was when he was separated from her ; still a very small and infantile dragon that could easily be picked up and wasn’t much of a threat at all. It was on the family’s son’s third birthday that Ahstonik was given to the boy as a gift and to become his future guardian but the little dragon was nothing of the magnificent creature the boy thought he would be and instead of blowing fire and flying, all the little dragon did was cry. Although Ahstonik doesn’t remember much of this now, the separation from his mother was very difficult at first and he would constantly wail for her and nothing the family did could console him.
In the beginning he was very skittish around these new people thrown into his life and would hide from them, be very hesitant to take any food from them and over all wasn’t trusting of them. This shyness and mistrust quickly became aggression however as he began to bite people when they tried to pick him up, ran from them and nipped at their heels when they walked past him as well as he would tear things up and was just over all rambunctious and unhappy. At still a very young age, Ahstonik took on his human form for the first time accidentally and in the middle of the night when he was asleep. This was a bit startling for the family but also a good thing as well as they could begin to teach him their language, manners and to educate him so he could become the perfect guard for their son. Ahstonik was a fairly smart child and a quick learner but he was also quick to realize what was going on or at least understood it somewhat, which only promoted worse behavior from him. He began to accuse the young archduke of being the reason why he was taken away from his mother and couldn’t go home and became something of a bully toward him.
His aggressive behavior only worsened as he got older and with the more he understood about why he was there until he was physically abusing the royal family’s son and destroying property and eventually tried to run away. When it became apparent that he was becoming too much to handle and would only become even more so as he got older, they had a well-known and very skilled magic user create the collar that he is now made to wear and despises. It was after he had attempted to run away that they placed it around his neck but it wasn’t put into use until he tried to shift into his dragon form and attack the young archduke after having been punished for trying to running away. His attempt to take on his dragon form triggered the collar to react and the shock it gave him in response scared the living crap out of him; it was the most painful thing he had felt up until that point in his life and he definitely wasn’t expecting it. After that he spent a week cowering under a bed, hesitantly experimenting with the collar and trying to get it off, only to wind up shocking himself over and over until finally he got so enraged that he was practically wrestling with the damn thing to get it off and harming himself in the process. He wound up causing himself to pass out and giving himself a nasty burn about his neck. After that he didn’t attempt to pull it off as no matter how much he tried, all he wound up doing was hurting himself.
From then on his behavior improved a bit and he stopped destroying things and trying to escape but he didn’t stop bullying the young archduke and only became meaner to him. He did become smarter with the way he went about bullying the other boy however and moved from hitting, biting him and physical abuse to tripping him when no one was looking, knocking over his drinks and spitting in his food, as well as playing pranks on him and other such childish nonsense. Of course Ahstonik got into a lot of trouble for this when he was caught and eventually after being punished for it several times, he stopped being as mean toward the other boy and especially so after they were made to spend more time with one another. When they had to be in the same room or cooperate with each other, Ahstonik would give the young archduke dirty looks, ignore him and other immature little things to show that he still didn’t like him.
Eventually and as Ahstonik and the young archduke got older, Ahstonik started coming around to him more; at first it was mainly due to being lonely and feeling very left out as though Ahstonik wasn’t treated too badly, the royal family did make his place among them very clear so he was always something of an outsider. One night when he was feeling particularly unwelcome and like an outsider after having been yelled at for stealing the family’s silverware (he had a bad habit of stealing things not only from the other boy but from the rest of the family and their servants as well and hiding them where he thought they couldn’t find them), he crawled into bed with the other boy and when he woke he told him to shut up and go back to sleep and from then on and occasionally now as well, will do the same when something is bothering him and looking for some kind of comfort but not wanting to voice it or admit to it (he doesn’t see anything weird about it and doesn’t realize it can be seen as weird or inappropriate as dragons are social and pack creatures and being near another or having physical contact with one another is a comforting thing so it’s kind of an instinctual thing to look for comfort by seeking out closeness from another being). Ahstonik has since called down some and is a lot more cooperative than he was when he was younger and the young archduke has actually become something of a sense of security and comfort for him (though he still denies the fact that he likes him at all as a person and still picks on him from time to time). Actually, Ahstonik cares for the other boy and is protective over him on his own will rather than being forced to be and has grown quite fond of him (not that he’ll actually admit that). Though, he still hates the fact that he’s for all intents and purposes owned by the guy, he more or less accepts his place among their family (not that it’ll stop him from picking on the young archduke and being stubborn when it comes to his job as ‘guardian’.
Recently, the young archduke has been enrolled into SA for college and Ahstonik was made to come as well to protect him should he need it and so has been enrolled at SA as well.
