Name: Farid John Tallis
Age: 24
Birthday: December 7th
Gender: Male
Category: Student
Class: College

Appearance Description:
Farid looks like a bit of mutt. His skin is a dark olive color, which he gets from his Arab mother, but his facial features resemble more his European father. He doesn't let his black hair to fall much further than the nape of his neck, and usually pushes it back behind his ears.

Usually not one for formal clothing or dressing up, Farid keeps his wardrobe limited to tee shirts of various colors, well worn blue jeans, and an old leather jacket he got from his father. Often, he wears combat boots laced with black paracord, and more likely then not, wears a beanie of some color on top his head. The only piece of jewelry he wears is an odd ring with a couple of fox paw prints inscribed upon it.

Personality Description:
Farid is the kind of guy who loves to sit in the back of the classroom, pay no attention to the teacher, or their lecture, and then still make high marks on his assignments. He is seen as a slacker by most of his teachers and even some of his peers, but his close friends know that he actually has a very good work ethic; the teachers' lectures simply bore him, and he usually spends the period thinking about the different ways he could modify his old computer. Although he can be somewhat of an introvert at times when he is working on a lengthy programming project, Farid is fairly personable most of the time, and has no problem talking to complete strangers.

Powers:
Farid's powers are quite suiting for his love of technology and programming; he can quite literally see into a computer (or tablet or MP3 player), and access files and network settings with his mind. While he can open, change and basically mess around with anything on a computer using this power, there are several limitations, with the primary one being the security software of the computer. If Farid wanted to access a computer with a high grade security software, he would have to focus a lot more to get through the software and access files. Also, while he is capable of changing settings, documents and screwing with the operating system on a computer, Farid cannot access, edit or otherwise change the core programming of a computer, nor can he alter or destroy any of the hardware.

Also, there is an ancient fox spirit named Aiuccio bound to Farid's ring. While he does not give very much information about himself, or why he agreed to being bound in the first place, Aiuccio will occasionally mention the Gallic Wars of the ancient Roman Empire, but doesn't go much further than that. When he first revealed himself to Farid and chose him out of a long line of potential candidates since the Hundred Years' War, he simply told the young man that he had nothing to fear, and that the spirit only wanted a companion.... Although, the spirit's exorbarant pranks and habit of getting Farid into detention via these pranks is a rather poor definition of companionship. Depsite this, as well as an ego bigger than all those of the Olympians combined, Aiuccio does care for Farid, and (sometimes) takes the fall for his antics (when he's not busy laughing his furry ass off).

Biography:
If Farid hadn't said it a million times already by the time you ask him, he'll say it again; his past is his business. But, he'll go ahead and give you some important details. For one, he was born in the United Arab Emirates to an English business man and an Arab mother, and lived there until he was about six, at which point his family moved to the U.K., and where he, on his eleventh birthday, got the odd ring he always wears from a pawnshop in London. Later that year, while he was up late one night messing around on his father's old computer, he learned two things: a.) the ring he wore was inhabited by a spirit, and b.) he could control computers with his mind. As his twelfth birthday approached, he got a letter in the mail inviting him to Starlight Academy.

Additional Information:
In addition to being a sort of companion to Farid, Aiuccio also acts as a living history lesson; having been around since at least the time of Julius Caesar, he has witnessed many important events in history, including the fall of Rome, the Hundred Years' War, and the conquests of the Mongols, to name a few. Also, as a result of his extensive changing of hands, the fox spirit has picked up a variety of languages, such as Gaulish, Latin, Mandarin, and Elizabethan English, among others.
