・・ APPEARANCE ・・

Hecate has the appearance of a young woman in her early 20s. She's rather small, standing only at a height of 5'3" with narrow shoulders and a lean, albeit pear-shaped silhouette. Her form seems rather built despite her size, possibly due to her regimen as a former bioweapon. Her complexion is a soft fair, contrasting greatly with the fire of her hair, with some freckles sprinkled across her nose and some on her shoulders.

Her fire red hair is cut, chopped with the shorter strands falling above her nape and the longer strands just left hanging above her shoulders. Her smokey blue eyes are adorned with almost feather-like lashes and delicately arched eyebrows. Her plump lips are almost always tinted with red that matches the color of her hair and she has a cute nose that looks a little blushed.

Her cute face aside, she is far from delicate. Her expression is often schooled to a scowl, if not a poker face. Her stance is firm, strong and imposing despite her small stature. When not in uniform, she dresses in militaristic or corporate formals — blazers, slacks, and pumps come as staples in her wardrobe. She looks human in all respects of appearances except for the palm of her hands having circular outlines instead of palm lines.

・・ PERSONALITY ・・

Bottom line, Hecate is probably the last person you'd expect to get friends. First thing on the list is that she is in no way kind or friendly; second, she isn't very sociable, and three, she refuses to speak to people for no reason.

Hecate dislikes idle talk or any form of interaction she deems unnecessary which literally kills any chance of her to build friendships or anything of the sort. She's awkward in crowds without her knowing due to this lack of social interactions. Without having to be said, social skills may be the only thing she doesn't have. Her mind is focused on work, work, and work.

In some senses, Hecate has a one track mind which makes it hard for her to adjust to major changes. Her strict organization skills makes little room for compromise. Everyday is planned out of her weeks ahead complete with detailed accounts of how she should work through each day like a narrative script but with time stamps instead of scene numbers. It's not a stretch to call her a programmed robot that does as she's instructed. Any bump in her plans could result to an entire day ruined if it drags out long enough.

Hecate also documents everything that goes on around her, taking note of anything she finds what could be important for future reference. If she finds a certain topic to her interest, she will not stop asking until she gets the nitty-gritty details of it. Not one stroke missed. No one has really seen what she writes in her notebooks — she writes way too fast for anyone to actually take a peek.

On an obvious note, Hecate is not without flaws. Her schedule and her notebook keep everything around her in a balance and reminds her she is in control of herself. A chink off her schedule makes her uncomfortable, lack of information makes her feel lost and frustrated — things blowing out of proportion drives her mad. Whatever the reason, she can end up panicking for her life into a breakdown if she doesn't have any idea what is happening.

Hecate... doesn't have a life. Which is to say she doesn't have actual 'hobbies'. She reads in her free time, writes and organizes her notes, plans out her schedule and the occasional clean-up and house chores for her current headquarters (she refuses to call it a house). Trying out new things scare the heck out of her so she doesn't think of trying anything else outside of her comfort zone and lives mostly in isolation.

・・ POWERS ・・

Subject Specialties

Hecate is genetically altered to be an elite soldier. Experimental procedures conducted on her has given her capabilities unique to her design. She is in no means strong. Her strength can be compared to that of a normal human with some considerable training to be fit for combat. Her agility on the other hand is more superhuman. Her reaction time is comparable to an expertly-trained martial artist, if not better, letting her be able to defend, block or parry against most attacks against her as long as she has her mind to it. Of course, the case is different if her mind is wandering. Hecate is in fact, armed with a staff that's as tall as herself (which can retract for easy storage) she uses in case of combat.

a) Chameleon Trait : She cannot shapeshift but Hecate has chameleon-like abilities that can make her blend in with her surroundings. Not necessarily camouflage that he skin would change into strange patterns--but her chameleon trait can fool the eye of onlookers. She can make her hair appear darker, or even lighter, and her skin to another shade to avoid being immediately recognized--her eyes being the only ones that do not change. Most people would miss her in a crowd when this power is active. This ability does have its loopholes: it works at its fullest as long as she keeps a low profile. If she dares to make herself be known, her camouflage is broken and she can be identified even if her colors are completely different as if looking at someone who just had their hair dyed and skin tanned. The chameleon trait is for the most part an illusory ability.

b) Electroshock : Hecate is designed for detainment, which arms her with the ability to deliver electric shock that temporarily disrupt muscle movements. Her palms are equipped with wired electrodes that can reach up to 30 feet. The shock is strong enough to stun her target long enough for her to tackle them but they are weak enough not to kill or leave lasting injuries (unless heavily exposed). The electrodes aren't designed to lock in on targets, nor does she have perfect aim--which is to say she can miss her target and potentially get herself stuck if the wires end up tied up somewhere (or with each other). The current remains dormant until the electrodes are released from the pods in her palms so she can't shock anyone just by touching them. This is the part of her needs maintenance in order to prevent any accidents such as possible short-circuiting and overheating.

Hyper Regeneration

Years of experimentation have given Hecate an increased rate for regeneration, a trait shared by test subjects under the same project as herself. She can reform most parts of her body in only a matter of hours up to a few days, depending on the severity. Given time, she can regenerate even lost limbs. The healing process goes in order per layer — for example, broken limbs would focus on repairing the bone before repairing the muscle and nerves, and then to the skin. She cannot, however, repair vital organs in case of severe damage, save for a few parts of her brain which is not required to keep her alive. She cannot focus the healing process into one area or increase it's speed.

・・ BIOGRAPHY ・・

Hecate can recount a life she has in her memories: some bright school girl who barely had any friends, content with her life with books and research projects, sometimes found in front of a piano with a face she couldn't quite make out, a lonely bedroom with a lot of stuffed animals to keep her company, or holding a picture frame with a photo she couldn't quite remember. She had nothing else but that.

She would have liked to believe those were memories of her own, possibly blurred out from the intense genetic modifications she had to go through along with stripping herself off her name. She didn't need them if she was going to contribute to a better world. She told herself then it was a necessary sacrifice. If she told that herself now she would have punched her past self in the face. Now, Hecate in nature was curious in nature and in no time she found herself perusing the lab archives where she'd started her training. By complete accident. She was supposed to be looking for some other files.

She wasn't quite happy with her discovery. She found logs of experiments made on volunteers like her. Or... at least she thought they were volunteers. She found logs that dated almost 10 years prior to her training, eventually finding her birth name in documents in the first files. Odd, she thought. She only remembered volunteering about a few months ago or so.

Flipping through the pages further she found that the project had included cloning into the process after five years into the project after multiple failures and deaths of subjects. Now that was a funny thought. Apparently there hadn't been any new volunteers after then. Which meant one obvious thing to her.

Hecate abandoned the files. Finished her job there and went straight to her bunker. She might have had a breakdown but she couldn't really remember. The next few weeks were a bit of blur but she was pretty sure she always found herself trying to break into the archives scouring for more information about the project.

She wasn't sure if she'd been found out but she was sent out on a mission off the island to apparently search for a rogue experiment. Now that was a funny story.

・・ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ・・

Project Hecate aims to create the ideal super soldier with superhuman abilities by altering the subject's DNA and installing necessary equipment within the subject's body in addition to the recommended procedures. The process includes an added procedure during the creation of the body of the clone, therapies upon waking of the subject, and rigorous training and testing for the body modifications in case of complications or side-effects.

[DATE]
Subject 3826 has been under observation and testing for 1 month now to see for any possible complication of the body modifications. She has been showing better results compared to any of our previous subjects. Irritability is a notable problem which she has explained to us to be caused by discomfort from the equipment. Additional therapy sessions is recommended to be implemented.

[DATE]
Subject 3826 has adjusted well to the modifications and she has showed steady progress during training until today. She is currently in ICU in recovery after today's mishap. We have discovered the equipment can overheat from extended use that can injure the subject. The equipment requires upgrades. Damage inflicted are 3rd degree burns from palms up to her elbows; possibly deep. On the other hand, her regenerative abilities are now under observation.

[DATE]
Subject 3826 has recovered from her injuries quickly as expected. We resume training and testing as soon as the upgrades have been made and installed. Should we be able to continue this streak, we may be able to be looking at a breakthrough.

[DATE]
Subject 3826 is confirmed to be successful under Project Hecate after nearly 10 years of failures. Her records show positive response to the installation of her body modifications, and a notable improvement through combat training. We have done all adjustments possible for the equipment for her maximum usage. Her modifications may still need maintenance and we require constant updates of her state.
