Flicker is a woodland selkie from the Canadian wilderness, meaning she can turn into any mammal commonly found in this biome. Her connection to these powers is directly connected to her access to her fur coat. It melds into her body when in animal form, but is worn as an accessory when she is human. She cannot lose her skin, but it can be stolen and hidden as a way to control her and severely limit her powers. Eventually, this deprivation would kill her.

Flicker doesn't have much of a reputation yet, seeing as she's brand new to Manta Carlos. Right now, she's just a run-of-the-mill new kid, and honestly rather mundane for this island. However, some may have noticed how little she understands of technology and modern light. She also just moved in with Xera!
