Konpeitō was, to put it simply, pissed. Or perhaps agitated was a better word for it. Every time he thought he had a handle on his shape-shifting, he ended up finding an issue that sent his entire world upside down. First, the unpredictability of his emotions literally showing, now, he found himself seeing people as food. Initially, he thought it was just because he took on the traits of a carnivore or a flesh eater, but no, even when he made himself human or a plant or a deer, he found himself wanting to eat everyone and anything. And this was worse than what he experienced as a vampire or ghoul or what have you. It was hard for Kon to see people as, well, people.

And now Kon he was at the fucking Manta Carlos Sanguine Society looking for the Natasha Lockwood. Not as a doner, but as a potential member. One who would probably be turned away, because it's not like he needed blood to live. But he had to give it a shot, even if his last real talk with Natasha went... poorly for him.

After entering the building with a tense smile, he looked around, hoping to find the familiar face he was looking for. Kon didn't expect Natasha to recognize him, what with his new color scheme and a more muscular body. And just in case his feelings that she was an emotion-reader too, he had his necklace on to prevent that power from affecting him. Perhaps that was what was needed for a fresh start.

"Yes, I do like that idea. Write it down.. Oh, and before I forget, please make sure that Mr. Del Bosque and Ms. Tor know who has won their gifts in the raffle, " Natasha said to her secretary as she came out of her office.

Spotting then a young man, who seemed a bit unsure of himself, waiting in the main foyer, made Natasha smile in understanding. She was quite used to people showing up unannounced, uncertain of how things worked, hesitant to ask for help, or even afraid they'd be turned away.

Walking over, Natasha greeted the newcomer in a friendly tone, "Welcome to the MCSS, can I help you by chance?"

The appropriate response for Kon when he saw Natasha was to immediately explain they already met, yet he couldn't help but start off with a roundabout reply. "It's nice to see you again, Natasha," he replied pleasantly. "It's Konpeitō... or Sprinkles as you used to know me. The NEK0. I had some questions about the MCSS. How it worked and the extent it would go to help people who needed blood. Would you be the right person to ask about that to?"

"Sprinkles?" Natasha gasped, eyes growing wide in surprise as she looked the young man over once again. She could now see the resemblance, though she would have never guessed it was him. He even felt different... well, she didn't feel anything from him actually.

"You look so different. I'd have never guessed," she told him with a warm smile, adding, "It suits you though, this new look."

Then looking around, she gestured to a table that was free where they could talk. "But yes, I am the one that can answer your questions. What did you want to know?" she asked curiously as she regarded Sprinkles, no Konpeito, with genuine interest.

Kon's ego was stroked as Natasha complimented his new look. "I would hope it looks good. I picked it out myself," he quipped with a chuckle. "But thank you."

When Natasha returned to what Kon was meaning to ask., his face darkened slightly, and this time not literally. "With my new shape-shifting, I've noticed I need to consume species I haven't eaten from before regularly to stay in control of myself. I was hoping the Manta Carlos Sanguine Society would be able to help. I understand I'm not a vampire or anything similar unless I want to be, but I'd appreciate a place I could go to to get what I need occasionally."

"Species? As in human?" Natasha enquired gently. It was a very common thing for feeders of all sorts to suddenly be finding themselves craving blood or flesh of their own kind or of a friend, or quite simply a species that they were friendly with and quite simply saw as part of their "family".

It was the psychological part of their transformation at play that she found many had problems with.. that all of a sudden their brother or sister or best friend was also part of their dinner time fantasies. It was often a hard thing to reconcile.

"Also ... You don't need to be a vampire to be a member of the MCSS," Natasha started as she folded her hands on the table in front of her. "I know that a good number of our members are, but it's not a requisite. We do have a few members who need flesh, certain emotions, sex even..." she explained as she looked at Kon without judgment.

"We also offer support services, a safe place to just hang out and chat with others who have similar problems, a buddy system where members can be paired with someone to help out with unwanted urges or cravings," she said as she listed some of the things they offered.

All of that sounded appealing. A buddy system would be nice. Someone he could connect to. If he could still connect to people normally after this.

"I like the sound of all of that. I'd like to look into the buddy system later. For now, I'm hoping you'd be able to accommodate someone like me? I don't only eat from humans. I eat from all species. The less I've eaten from them, the better. I can feed just off of blood since that's what you focus on, I think. Actually... do you focus on flesh-eating too. The flesh-eating part is what's, uh, really disturbs me. I'm not used... to it... He might as well ask about it all. Who knew what benefits he was missing out on by keeping quiet.

Natasha patiently let Konpeito finish asking all their questions - giving them the space and the time needed - before finally answering.

"Firstly, we do offer blood from quite a few different species and a few synthetic blood substitutes too. However, the rarer species like phoenixes or pixans, well, we don't carry their blood on a regular basis," she explained.

"And yes, we do offer flesh as an alternative means of sustenance," she explained calmly, though she did understand Kon's reticence at the idea of it. She had only tried a few types herself and she had only tried them because she had to advise MCSS members about the choices they had.

"To be honest, I have found flesh is sometimes an acquired taste," she told him truthfully. "The few times I have eaten it, I had to have it cooked," she confessed, not too ashamed to admit that she had had a hard time stomaching it raw.

Konpeitō almost made a stupid mistake. He was very tempted to ask, "Do you have a member named Tieragoran?" It's not that he would have been opposed to him being there... but he'd rather not explain to his boss that he was also a flesh eater and was having his own set of problems. Tier most likely wouldn't care, but there was a sense of discomfort in that idea. He didn't want anyone connected to the NEK0s knew about Kon's issues.

Which reminded him that Natasha was one of those people who was connected to the NEK0s

"Good, good... Great, actually. I don't need anything too rare. Just diversity. I can always go to Bleedr or to a butcher shop if I need something specific. And it's not so much the taste that's an issue. It tastes... great, actually. Anything from anybody takes too good for comfort.

"It's more, uh... flesh-eaters isn't usually seen as nicely compared to blood-drinkers. And, well, I assume you know how things are with the NEK0s? There's also... that... I don't want this getting out and them thinking badly of me."

"Oh, I see," Natasha said, suddenly clueing into what Kon meant and fully understanding his misgivings. Yes, flesh eaters tended to be more looked down upon than other types of feeders. She supposed that it was the whole misunderstanding surrounding them, and how some people thought that flesh eaters needed to kill to survive. Which was not true.

"Don't worry, "Konpeito, Natasha assured him. "What you do or say here is your business entirely. The MCSS is meant to be a safe place, and as long as you respect other members and follow the rules, you will have no issue from me," she told him kindly.
