It was late. Late and Dalia still couldn't sleep. She'd eventually started coming home, but just to sleep. Not even eat. She didn't want to even look at Phaedra, let alone possibly speak to her. But now the knot in her stomach made her so queasy that she couldn't even do the one thing she came home to do.
So she was out on the balcony, magnetized to the outside of the railing. Just sitting there looking out at the city. Electricity arced across her skin is she pulled her hood tight around her face against the cold. She was sure everybody was asleep already. Even Orsick and Riley. It was late after all. So she let herself cry for once, burying her face in her knees and sobbing gently from all the pent up emotions she had been having lately.
