'I wish I had someone who could help me like that.'

If Riley was being honest, she was kind of jealous of Dalia for that. And for a number of things, really. She didn't know if someone even could help her figure this stuff out - all the other people who went through the same stuff she was were supposed to be dead, since she reincarnated from them.

'Sometimes I think the stuff I remember makes me a bad person. Or it could turn me into one, if I'm not already bad like all the teachers think I am.

You're not bad, Riley. I actually did bad stuff to Argenta, and you don't think I'm bad right? Dalia didn't really tend to share details about that day with Argenta. People one that she had mauled the other girl, but no one knew the thought process. How Dalia had held back from doing even worse things to her. Argenta had nearly died that day.

Sighing and rolling over, Dalia thought about her friendship with Riley. With all her friends. She loved them more than anything and she hated seeing them upset like this. But she couldn't fix it. Not easily anyway.

I know it's not quite the same, but maybe I can help you?

I don't think you're bad, Riley thought at her.

But a part of Riley believed the exact opposite, and that was part of Riley liked Dalia so much. Because Riley was rotten, too; they both knew what it was like.

Dalia's question confused her. I'd like if you could. But how?" They'd just talked about how nobody could explain Riley's memories to her like Malara did for Dalia's

Dalia hummed to herself, and let the thoughtful sound fill her thoughts and pass onto her friend's mind through their link. "I dunno, but we'll figure it out. We're gods, right? We can do anything if we put out minds to it.

We just gotta know where to start. I can talk to my mom too, see if she knows anything we can do. She's old. She knows lots of stuff, even if she acts like she doesn't."
This was accompanied by a psychic giggle as Malara invaded her daughter's mind briefly, jokingly asking her why she was calling her old.

Yeah," Riley agreed, "She's prolly old enough to be a great great great great great great great..."

Riley would continue like this for a little while, unless Malara or Dalia decided to chime in. She'd end it with "grandmother" and a giggle either way.

"I know one of my past lives might be over two thousand years ago. But I had em on more than one planet. Maybe we met before!" The idea kind of excited her.

Dalia giggled both mentally and externally at the ridiculous number of great's Riley used for her mom. "Yeah, she's really old. And maybe! Who knows? Maybe she and one of your past lives kicked butt together. We'll talk to her sometime and maybe she can help."

She reached out, mentally patting Riley on the shoulder and smiling. Sending warmth. "See? We got this. And it's not just you and me. Orsick. Iesha. Amber. We're all Monster Squad so we all stick together."
