"They don't go far yet, still training in using them," he looked back to his dorm. It was clean, his guitar was propped up in the corner, his shelves lined with horror books and films and his bed against one wall. "Oh yeah.....welcome to my dorm," not many people came here.

"Not much but its home," he stepped beside hr as she looked around. "You said you live with you're brother? Guess you won't see much of these." The dorms were nice, James appreciated his, better than the old warehouse he used to live in.

"Though you're welcome to come by," he said, "to hang out." He was being a bit bolder than usual, he liked people, but he sometimes struggled being social.

Marian's eyes were quick to study her surrounding, a little something she'd trained up after her side acitivites back then. His wasn't bad, but neither was it too impressive. Too typical, she figured, with only the shelf of horror themed materials making the cut. She wasn't a musical person to pay attention to the guitar but she'll possibly make use of it as a distraction or some other.

"It's very homey," she told him, finally turning to face James. Her expression seems to turn somber, "Home feels... weird, honestly. I never really grew up with my brother and I only remember him by with letters so he feels somewhat a stranger. It doesn't help he's very busy with work so... he doesn't really have time for me either." The pity card -- given the right timing it was an excellent weapon and my what opportunity did she get.

The Shade smiled at his offer: a small innocent smile. "If you don't mind, maybe we could hang out more? I like you, and you're really nice. Is that okay?"

"I'm sorry to hear that," he said as she explained the situation with her brother. "Don't worry, you won't be lonely here," James had been more or less alone his whole life, he wasn't going to let her be alone.

He smiled brightly, "I'd....really like that," he said, honestly happy to at the prospect of spending time with her. She seemed like such a sweet kind girl to James. The Shadow on the other hand, wasn't convinced, he never spoke, bit squinted at Mari, suspicions aroused.
