Victor, yet the creature of habit, was on another one of his runs. However, to shake things up, he took a different path than usual.

Often, he would circle the island, taking in the sights. He always had the time for it, what with controlling time and all. It bored him, though, as he never actually saw what was on the island. Thus his current path. Not stopping, he unfurled his map, so he didn't get lost. It was a trek through the mountains, passing through the forbidden forest. Hopefully, he got a glimpse of why it was called forbidden.

He hadn't yet, as the light didn't seem to pass through the thick trees. Regardless of this, he didn't want to go in any further. Something didn't feel right, as if something would happen if he looked away.

It was hard to keep an eye on the trees though. Holes were everywhere in the area between the mountains and the forest. Not sure if rabbits or erosion, or even how deep, he thought it would be a good idea to try not to fall in one.

Continuing his jog, he watched the treeline.
