It appeared that the veil of secrecy also concealed the Pixan Kingdom. "Would you be able to see it, or do you just know where to look?"

Marcus put the last of his sandwich into his mouth as he thought about how to answer her. "Well, yeah, it's another kingdom, but it has colonies all over the world. I'm pretty sure Canada was once run part of England's Empire at some point."

Noticing the juice surrounding her mouth, he pointed it out to her. "You got something right here," Marcus said, pointing at his own mouth where the juice was around her mouth.

She lowered her ears a little bit in thought when he asked about the nature of how the kingdom was hidden. "Huh, I guess...I'm not really sure. It's different for us, I think, like we can see right through it. I suppose if you knew what you were looking for ahead of time, somehow, you might be able to find a village. Or, you know, if you could just see through illusions or something. That's what happened with the couple of humans I met in Lyko City."

Colonies, huh? She supposed it must be a pretty far reaching territory, cool! She blinked a little when he mentioned that there were colonies in Canada, looking up thoughtfully. "Huh...maybe one of your colonies was nearby one of our villages? Or, relatively near, that is. There aren't any near the edge of the forest." Letting out an embarrassed giggle when he pointed out the juice, she finished her strawberries and then dabbed herself with a napkin. "The food here isn't too bad!"

Must be a confusing topic. Knowing that humans have actually made it made some sense. They had to be special human beings, like the citizens of Manta Carlos.

Marcus shook his head. "Possibly not. Most of Canada is woodland, so I guess an entire city could hide in the forest." Even with the logic behind it, he couldn't still believe a civilization exists mostly untouched by humans.

He laughed. "Yeah, I think the people with plant-based powers help to grow them, so the cost of good food is quite low here."
