Just looking around.

Matthew strolled along the edge of the lake, he was sevirly tempted to turn all the water to ice and go skating but he wasn't sure if others would like his idea. he looked out across the lake. he siaghed contentedly. he was waiting for Steph to get here but as usual she was taking forever. maybe I could just freeze half the lake he thought to himself. he looked around. he saw no one. he couldn't resist any longer. he pulled his hands out of his pockets and waved his hand slowly over the lake. the lake slowly iced up. Matt smiled to himself. "Perfect" he said to himself quietly. he was about to take a step onto the ice when he heard someone come up behind him...

"Shame I thought it looked better the other way." Said a sudden voice from behind. "You don't think so?" Isabelle said, looking at the lake, it was much to calm for her now and peaceful when it wasn't moving. "I thought it was......what's the word? Oh yes beautiful." She said.

Matt turned and looked at the girl. "It'll melt" he said grinning. he looked around, it was a reasonably cold day so it might take a while. "Personally I'm more of a fan of the ice" he joked. "But if you talk to my sister she'd tell you it's better when it's moving." he continued. "I'm Matt by the way" he said holding out his hand for her to shake.

"Oh well I don't have to wait for it to melt." Isabelle said, she looked at the lake and without having to moving and only just by looking at it she unfroze it. "I'm Isabelle." She said as she reached for her hand. "It's a pleasure."

Matt frowned at the now unfrozen lake. he shook the girls hand and then let go and put his hand back in his pocket. he was tempted to re freeze the lake but he refraind. "so..." matt searched for something catchy to say, but he couldn't think of anything.

"If you like it better the other way I'll change it back." Isabelle said, glancing back over to the lake and refroze it. "Are you new?" She asked him curiously, as she began to moved closer to the frozen lake.

"um yer, It's better here than..." he paused mid sentence, he was going to say back home where his mother had taught him. "Actually, it's not, I've only been here like five minutes" he said smiling. "But I'm not sure we're gunna like it here." he said refering to both himself and his sister. he looked out across the lake. "How about you? are you new here too?" he queried.

"No." Isabelle said simply and was about to step on the ice but reframed herself what doing so because she didn't want to fall and embarrass herself. Isabelle had actually been there for quite sometime now. "May I ask who you referred to as 'we'?" She asked, turning back to look at him and waited for a reply.

"O, I ment me and my sister, shes actually my twin" he explained. "Her names' Stephanie." matt looked down at the iced up lake and took a very confiddent step onto it. then another. he looked down at his feet then looked at the girl. "She's not really much like me" he continued. "But its hard not to like her, she's abit shy"

"Maybe I'll have the pleasure of meeting her someday." Isabelle said as she sat down on the ground with her legs stretched out on the ice. "Twins? That's quite fascinating really, I've never met anyone before that had a twin." She said, wondering what it would be like to have one herself.
