"I liked ember too, so I figured there's two i like, one a little more than the other, if the first is taken, I'll go out with the second." he said as he got up from where he was. Look what you did you idiot... he thought, "I gotta go.." he said as he started walkign back down the path towards school.

So much for love being easy.
How could Ian go out with another person 'in case the first one is taken'? That just didn't make sense...
